Transcendence

Some TLDR for you.

I think I found my favorite medium! Yay! It usually takes me an ungodly amount of time to color anything (days, weeks, months....)

This is honestly the first time I have ever successfully drawn EXACTLY what was in my head to every detail. Sure there are things here and there that could be fixed if I had a proper paintbrush with me (like Ulquiorra being way too tan).

Yes I know it looks like he is following a bird, but that gray streak was an accident honest! And I really like the effects of the sky having become water as I was working the background like he is rising up on an ocean mist at sunset.

Ulquiorra is not dead. He is transcendent. He is no longer constrained by the circle of transmigration and has joined the cosmos, no longer imprisoned in a physical or spiritual body but free to go and do as he pleases. <This belief will not change, regardless of whenever his status is confirmed.

Since Segunda Etapa's introduction, when I first saw him my reaction was one of deep respect, and what would have been worship if he were a religious deity (also respected Murcielago, and of course fell for Ulquiorra hard).

Mind you I have a nice wide range collection of succubus, incubus, demons, dragons, mythological creatures images, and have never had any form of reaction to them other than "oooh pretty art," and never believed that the character "Lucifer" was real despite my Christian upbringing. If anything I am eclectic pagan with a belief in a god consciousness and shared cosmic energy, not a physical god.
